Larry Faulk is a retired manager from the Boeing Company. Currently he is a Director of EPOD International Inc., and international renewable energy corporation. He is also active in various civic projects in the Tacoma area.. As a fundraiser for non-profit organizations, he has raised over $2 million.

A lifelong resident of Tacoma, Faulk earned his Bachalor of Arts in Political Science degree from Seattle University. He received his Masters in Public Administration degree from Evergreen State College. He is a graduate of the Senior Executive Program for State and Local Government Officials at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

His public sector experience began in 1966 when he was elected a Washington State Senator. At 30 years of age, he was the youngest member of the Senate. He was also elected a freeholder responsible for drafting a new form of government for Pierce County. The Governor appointed him to be a trustee of Tacoma Community College and to the Pollution Control and Shorelines Hearings Board. As a Chairman of these Quasi-judicial Boards, he wrote legal opinions on the environmental cases before these Appeals boards, which contained findings of fact, conclusion of law and the ultimate decisions. As a Chief Executive Officer of the Environmental Hearings office, he reduced the backlog of appeals while operating under budget. As a Political Science Instructor at Tacoma Community College the students rated Faulk 4.47 out of a possible 5.00 in his ability to communicate with them.

His major private sector experiences were the Boeing Company where he accomplished a wide variety of management assignments. These responsibilities included (1) marketing the Boeing Hydrofoil and Landing Aid System in Brazil and Argentina; (2) managing an enhanced recycling program; and (3) being a Loaned Executive to APEC, the National Alliance of Businessmen; United Way of King and Pierce Counties, Peninsula School District and the Tacoma/Pierce County Chamber of Commerce. His APEC responsibilities involved managing the logistics for President Clinton's speech. He has been and investment banker, specializing in municipal finance and a member of the AARP Executive Council for the State of Washington.

As a strategic planning consultant to the Washington State Auditor's Office, he facilitated a retreat for the Auditor's executive management team and developed a draft strategic plan. As the Deputy Director of the Martin Luther King Center, he managed a professional staff providing housing and support services to the homeless.
